SEO Marketing Manager

Overview

To drive best fit demand generation through SEO.
You will be responsible for driving the best fit leads through to SQL’s. Your expertise will be in driving demand through SEO in a B2B SaaS business.
You will work cross functionally with the sales teams, ensuring they are working on only the best fit leads. You will be responsible for search engine optimised content generation and technical SEO to drive traffic to the website and to drive demand from on-site traffic. You will help develop a scalable and efficient SEO demand generation strategy, build internal processes and develop tracking methodology to show impact. It is essential that you have love for numbers and an inquisitive mind to help drive the best results.

 

Key duties and responsibilities

  1. Plan, create and execute detailed SEO and PPC strategy – improving domain scores, referring links and increasing target market organic traffic
  2. Work closely with the marketing lead & sales teams to ensure the strategies are aligned and essential metrics are defined and trackable
  3. Produce keyword gap analysis for all pages – identifying new areas of opportunity to drive organic traffic
  4. Write effective SEO content for the website, adwords and referring sites
  5. Optimise on page elements to improve rankings and organic traffic. (Internal linking, page titles, page content)
  6. Optimise off page ranking elements (Monitor back links, outreach, brand mentions etc)
  7. Work with development teams to advise on SEO impact of site changes – including page speed and the impact of plug ins
  8. Using our marketing platforms create, manage and optimise the performance of landing pages and content across all web
  9. Continuously analyse and report on all measurements, analysing ROI and key metrics
  10. Always project a positive, helpful, customer focused attitude
  11. Sharing skills and experience within the team and supporting your colleagues in their tasks

 

Essential skills

  • Minimum of two years proven experience of creating SEO content and technical experience
  • Be proficient in Google Analytics/Webmaster tools/tag manager – and others
  • Experience with common SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Pingdom
  • Hands on experience of HTML, CSS & Javascript – within a wordpress environment
  • Have excellent communication skills and ability to engage at all levels
  • Demonstrate experience in using data to drive thinking
  • Be an analytical, innovative and creative thinker
  • Be ambitious and have a real drive to succeed
  • Be able to keep up with our fast paced momentum!
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good organisational skills

 

Desirable skills

  • Experience with Hubspot
  • Experience working with marketing analytics
  • Experience working in an SAAS environment
