Mid / Senior PHP Developer (perm & contractor opportunities)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our diverse development team.

We are looking to expand our development team and are seeking either a mid or a senior PHP Developer to develop and upgrade the features and codebase within our marketing automation’s suite of PHP applications.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our email suite’s application components built on PHP (5/7) alongside complementary technologies such as MySQL/MariaD and AWS services.
• Work with our in-house Product team to scope and design new features and products
• Work with our in-house DevOps team to ensure a quick, fault free process through development, QA, and deployment using CI tools
• Participate in our Agile processes
• Liaise with and assist our technical and professional support teams to deliver excellent service to our customers
• Provide quality control through code reviews

Essential skills

• Software development with PHP
• Working with databases
• Experience with version control systems

Desirable skills

• Using automated test frameworks
• Using AWS services
• Using the Laravel PHP framework
• Working in a SAAS application environment
• Using automated build and continuous integration systems

Remuneration

Salary band £32,000 to £52,000

25 days holiday rising to 30 days, plus public holidays and a day off on your birthday, contributory pension scheme, free health cash plan, discounted gym membership
