It was expected that Brits will spend over £500m on Halloween this year. Will COVID-19 spook consumers into retreating to their homes, scuppering all trick or treating? There’s no doubt that with the new social distancing rules things will be different, however we know the British people will be inventive and be crying out for a need to party!

It’s essential for brands to be even more inventive for this Halloween, taking into considerations the new restrictions placed on the UK Population. From more intimate home gatherings to online dressing up parties and visiting outdoor public events, there are many different ways brands can encourage and inspire consumers to celebrate this devilishly delightful occasion.

We thought we would take a nostalgic look back to see how brands were celebrating Halloween in 2019 (And it’s not just all retail!)
