What is it?
An add-on to Pure's targeted email marketing software that allows you to automatically import the contents of your email messages from a publicly availably web page.

This feature enhances the message composer already found in PureResponse, and can capture the content of any hosted webpage, such as a .html, .php or .asp(x) along with other file types such as .txt extensions. This means you can import plain text versions of your messages, too.

Who benefits from it?
Everybody who sends out targeted email marketing messages. Even if you do not host copies of your messages on your own web server, using Pure's Upload Library, your html and raw text files can be stored online and recalled for your campaign.

Content producers and publishers using CMS systems to publish their websites will particularly benefit from this new technology to directly create targeted email marketing campaigns based on their web content updates.

Why should you use it?
It greatly reduces the margin of error that can arise from working on multiple versions of one document.

The benefits of only working on a single file when performing even the most minor of amendments will improve your efficiency and for organisations hosting copies of your messages online, it will save you vast amounts of time which you may have wasted replicating content, effectively saving you money.

What else should you know?
Automatic message import will greatly facilitate targeted email marketing campaigns that use the Recurring Deliveries feature as it makes it possible to set the newly created message to refer to a URL for its content but to only collect the files content if it has changed since the previous delivery.

The Import from URL facility activates enhanced features for Recurring Deliveries and is part of the Enterprise eMarketing Toolset, a package that also contains Dynamic 'From' Description, Intelligent Time Sending, Enterprise Level Reporting, Dynamic Content and Filter by 'Date Since Sign-up'.
