Email masking

What is it?
A way of preventing anti-phishing filters mistaking the messages you send for SPAM. It means that even though you're using PureResponse to send your messages, they will appear to come directly from you.

Who benefits from it?
Anyone who wants their emails to be more widely read – less messages being 'junked' or blocked means more are being read.
Email masking is particularly useful for agencies who send out emails for clients.

Why should you use it?
Because Pure's Email Masking ensures more of your email messages get through. Email masking also allows companies to maintain brand consistency as Pure use the company's chosen domain name to send emails.

There's no point in sending emails if there's a chance they won't be read – and even less point if they never make it to an inbox but get filtered off as junk mail.

Many email distribution services send messages that have address lines that are mistaken for SPAM. Your own company name often doesn't feature prominently, if at all.

If you are paying per message sent, any that get filtered as SPAM or ignored by a recipient aren't just a wasted opportunity – they're a waste of money, too.

Using Email Masking means more of your messages get read and messages are sent from an address which is consistent with your brand.

What else should you know?

Discrepancies between the "from" and "reply" address and any inconsistencies in any links in the message will cause anti-phishing filters to divert the email into a junk folder.

Pure's Email Masking ensures these discrepancies aren't there, so the recipient and filters see the message as coming directly from you.
