Email marketing specialist Pure is the eleventh fastest growing new media company in the UK, according to Media Momentum’s Top 50 awards announced in central London on Tuesday night.
Media Momentum, run by technology investment bank GP Bullhound, is an annual league table which recognises the achievements of the most innovative and fastest growing digital media companies in the UK. The initiative is supported by media partners The Independent and industry trade magazine New Media Age, and backed by sponsors Barclays, Olswang and Sky Media.
Pure reached the coveted top 12 and is the only email marketing provider to make the top 40. The company recorded a compound annual growth rate of 890% over two years.
Pure’s founder Darren Fell was at the awards ceremony, held at Sketch, to receive the news.
“We are absolutely thrilled to reach number 11 as we were up against some fantastic companies that are doing great things in the sector,” said Darren Fell. “Pure has grown exponentially over the past couple of years; we have some 500 brands, including innocent drinks and the FT, using the PureResponse platform. Part of this is due to our incredibly successful agency division; made up of almost 100 companies which bring with them some enviable global brands. We’ve got big plans for the coming months in terms of company growth, new products and divisions.”
