In the beginning...
As a part of travel giant TUI, Travelbound is a provider of exciting holidays for schools and students. The company creates tailor-made school trips and educational programmes to support the National Curriculum and outdoor learning. Until their Pure360 induction Travelbound had been using basic word and paint skills to construct their emails. The results were hit and miss, and due to sending directly through Microsoft Outlook, they had no way of gauging response.
Travelbound needed an ESP and a custom template in line with their branding.
Customise that template!
PureResponse software and a custom made email template was the perfect solution. The Pure360 creative team suggested building an advanced email template. The customised template includes pre-made content blocks in different layouts as snippets, so Travelbound can easily change the content formatting to best suit the content of each message. The finished template is then added to Travelbound’s PureResponse account ready to be sent out.
In order to come up with the most affective template possible for Travelbound the Pure360 design team took into consideration multiple factors in the email design, such as; the lead image, title, text, calls to action and links.
Travelbound have an email template that reflects their brand identity; fun and exciting. This allows the company to have a cohesive brand image in line with their other communication channels.
Following various successful campaigns the company upgraded to Pure360’s Pro package. The package provides 5000 inclusive email credits which means the company can send larger volumes when necessary. Marketing for this educational travel company comes in seasonal peaks and by opting for the Pro package Travelbound can accrue credits over time and the credits roll over from one month to the next.
