PHP Developer £25-30k

We are seeking an experienced and motivated PHP developer to fill a new, full time position within the company. This role will report to the Development Manager and will be responsible for product enhancement and feature development.

This is a great opportunity to work in a friendly and highly motivated development team within a successful and growing software company, producing a high quality product in an international market. We are looking for a web developer to assist in building and maintaining core product enhancements, new features and custom client requirements. You will receive exposure to new web technologies and have the opportunity to come up with clever technical solutions to functional problems.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years commercial web development experience involving a minimum of PHP, HTML, XML, MySQL and JavaScript, and be familiar with all aspects of the development cycle. An initial period of familiarisation with our framework would be expected, although the ability to add immediate value would be a strong advantage, as would attention to detail, commitment to producing very high quality software and commercial experience in a variety of frameworks and platforms.

A typical day could involve the following:

• Building and maintaining product features
• Investigating and solving application bugs
• Providing solutions for high level technical support cases where lower level support teams have been unable to
