MEED Media - using email marketing to market events in the Middle East

Since 1957 MEED has provided business intelligence to companies wanting to take part in the exciting business opportunities available in the Middle East. MEED not only provides great analysis and insights regarding growing industries in the region, but it also organises events helping companies to raise business and networking opportunities.

Email marketing campaigns are therefore built around each event in order to inform and communicate with potential delegates and sponsors. The most important thing for MEED was to get an advanced level of reporting on their email marketing campaigns. Thanks to the Event Notification tool available in PureResponse, the events company was able to gather all the necessary results and data to better target their communication and their campaigns with different groups of recipients.

Every time a recipient clicks within the email they received, the MEED sales team gets an email with the data associated to this person. It allows them to track recipients’ activities whilst following up, for instance by phoning the recipients, learning more about what are their interests and often generating revenue.
