International Business Development Manager - French

We are successfully expanding into international markets, and are looking for a Business Development Manager to sell into France. We have an uncapped and generous commission scheme with 25% being the highest rate. You’ll need to have strong expertise selling to the French market and a track record of hitting and exceeding targets. You will have strong influencing skills and a friendly, confident and positive approach. You enjoy challenge and variety in your job and have the self-discipline to work systematically and with pace to achieve goals.

We are ideally looking for a Channel BDM, where your job would be to bring on board Marketing Service Providers and/or other resellers to sell our product. For this role you would need experience building partnerships with resellers. Alternatively, we would also recruit a strong Business Development Manager for the direct sales market.

Key Responsibilities
•    Proactively generating revenue from outbound telesales to consistently achieve your targets
•    Building and managing a pipeline of opportunities and forecasting accurately
•    Developing a high level of industry knowledge

For the Channel role:

•    Building partnerships with resellers, also teaching them to sell our product and service successfully
•    Mainly phone-based, with occasional field sales, closing directly or through resellers

Skills & Experience

Essential:
•    Native-level French; fluent English
•    A minimum of 3 years sales experience, including solid B2B telesales
•    A consultative, intelligent selling style and strong rapport building skills
•    Significant part of experience gained within the French market

For the Channel role:

•    Successful experience building relationships and selling through resellers/ agencies
•    Ability to control the decision making process through a middle agent

Desirable:
•    Experience selling technology or corporate services (with an element of specialist knowledge)
•    Software, especially SaaS, sales a definite advantage
•    Experience in the marketing or digital marketing space

Person specification
•    Driven, self-motivated and organised
•    Excellent at building relationship with an intelligent sales style 
•    Passionate about learning more and progressing in your sales career

We also need you to be fully eligible to work in the UK and be available to attend an interview in Brighton at a few days' notice.

Basic salary: £25,000- £30,000+ depending on experience
OTE £45K- £60K (depending on your level)
Job type: Permanent, Full-time
