With over 10 years in the industry, Roger has worked with a myriad of different systems for large corporates and top ranking New Media Agencies including ICL Integris UK (part of Bull Information Systems) and Victoria Real.
He started his career in 1991, COBOL programming on ICL mainframes during the year out from his degree. At the same time, he was involved with the systems administration of the local office systems.
Since then he has worked on VAX/VMS, covering the network and systems administration as well as programming in VAX BASIC and assembly language. For the last 8 years or so, he has been mainly working on UNIX systems, covering most of the different types of UNIX available.
Most recently, he has been working with Open Source technologies such as GNU Linux and perl, in a role increasingly involving the modern-day need for businesses to have secure, reliable systems in an internet environment.
Pure is a member of the Direct Marketing Association. As a member of the DMA we abide by the Direct Marketing Code of Practice.
