Richard's first steps into the world of high-tech gadgetry began when writing BASIC on his Sinclair Spectrum 48k (remember them!) in the mid-80's. Not content with an 8 colour palette and monophonic beeps, this machine was soon relegated to the bin and superseded with a shiny new Amiga 500 on which he was able to write games in AMOS.
This was just the beginning, Richard soon realised the potential of the I.T revolution when, in high school, he started building and repairing PC's for his school chums.
Two short courses later, these side projects became his bread and butter when he started work for the I.T department at Warner Howard Group Ltd supporting a network over 300+ users with several sites spanning the U.K.
Not one to be left behind, Richard qualified as a Sun Certified Java Programmer in September 2005 and is looking forward to developing his skills commercially as a developer for Pure.
