An experienced development team leader, application designer and developer.
His commercial experience starts from 1995 and covers a range of industries and technologies. His career began developing with COBOL and 4GL languages over large relational databases for a marine insurance system. This massive development project instilled the OO development practices that have been used throughout his career.
With clients including Baring Asset Management, Gartmore Investment Management, and Axa he has extensive financial systems experience coupled with a degree and experience in accounting. In addition he has written systems for the likes of Sony Music UK and the National Lottery giving him exposure to the differing requirements of more diverse industries.
His most recent roles have been designing and leading large web application developments using Java technologies but his focus remains on business oriented development whatever the technology involved.
