David started out with EDS (Electronic Data Systems) in 1998 as a trainee software developer using the Unix operating system. This fuelled David's enthusiasm for all things Unix/Linux related therefore he spent 4 years in development at EDS working with Oracle, HP & Unix.
David has always had a keen interest in the hardware and operating system side of business computing and temporarily supported Microsoft Windows desktop workstations and servers at EDS before moving into a permanent Unix support position where he officially transferred to the world of IT support.
David came to Pure with the belief that his past experience would benefit the Pure team while developing his own skills in a young and dynamic company.
