In 2000, Andy was 2nd technician and sound engineer for
a renowned
live
music
venue
in
the
South
East,
a position
attained
after
completing
studies
in
Music
Technology
and
entertainment
business
at
West
Kent
College.
Working
with bands such as Therapy?, Biffy Clyro, Reel Big Fish
and Lostprohets, Andy was heavily involved within the promotional
material and bookings for the venue. Over the coming years
Andy started
his
own
booking
agencies n0v3lty Promotions,
as well as writing for the
venue's in-house magazine, Blam,
and unLabel,
the venue's
own recording label and distribution company.
Several years of late nights, loud music, the highs and lows of touring and a diet of beans on toast indicated a time for change.
After
becoming A+ certified in Microsoft Hardware support and
system administration, Andy moved to Brighton, where after
an extensive period in network solutions, turned his hand
to design and online media. He
has honed his expert skills within XHTML, CSS and web
design
as a whole, making him a valuable employee 2.0.
An avid photographer and musician, Andy spends the majority of his free time watching bands and shooting the shows for various online and print publications.
